Now the question arises that why this hospital in Pattika only?
There are several logical and natural demands of such facility to be there like:

• Pattika is surrounded with .7 million population, who needs a separate health facility for themselves.
• It takes 2 to 6 hours to reach to any hospital by the people and it becomes an open risk to their lives when there is no medical facility now available.
• After earthquake there is no hospital to address local of the area which is a great number of people.
• People of Pattika and surroundings deserved to have a hospital in Pattika
• Trust has acquired a land piece has signed sale deed with the sellers of land,

Rupees 300,000/= has been paid to the sellers.

• Seismic Survey has been made and a clearance report from the National

Engineering Services of Pakistan is attached, there is now such risk to the project in the future.

Moreover founder member belongs to Pattika and he desired to strive for establishing this hospital in Pattika. Now after the earthquake of 8/10 situation of health conditions has changed and needs for a hospital has grown more.

However, hospital is a must need of the people of the area to avoid death risks and find up to the mark medical facility in their area. This hospital would provide exclusive and state of the art medical facilities to the people of AJK including the following:

• Good Transport facilities – ambulance service
• Tele-medical facilities (people may be able to call at the hospital and get advice for general medical treatment)
• All health Tests, necessary for further medical treatments
• ECG, X-ray
• Operation Theater. OT
• Medical Surgical Wards
• Pharmacy
• Out Door Patient, OPD

The project would help:

• To lessen the miseries of the people of and surrounding areas,
• To reduce the mortality and morbidity rate of approximately half a million population,
• To provide medical care to the vulnerable groups of populations like women and children,
• To provide free health services to deserving people of the area and,
• To provide employment opportunities to the locals and hence raise their standard of living.
